Green building practices can offer our clients an opportunity to create environmentally-sound and resource-efficient buildings. We are eager to help you explore this “smart building” approach where the goal is to use a minimum of nonrenewable energy, produce a minimum of pollution, and cost a minimum of energy dollars, while increasing the comfort, health and safety of the people who live and work in the building.
Examples of low-cost green practices might include the development of strategies to use natural lighting, the selection of a site to take advantage of mass transit, or the decision to use recycled-content products.

Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world's terrestrial biodiversity. Forests provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people, absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines. Have you ever taken an Aspirin? It comes from the bark of a tree!
In addition, forests provide the lumber we use to build our senior and multi-family communities. It only seems appropriate that J3C Group helps the California reforestation effort by planting 1,500 trees for every project we undertake. These trees are typically planted in forests managed by the U.S. Forest Service or conservation groups.
Together, let's restore California's forests so that we can continue to enjoy their natural beauty for many years to come!
